BT Studios is the expressive outlet of artist, Barbara Theile, comprised of paint, pottery, and soft goods pieces. Barbara is a natural creative — as a Chicago, IL-based interior designer by trade, she composes spaces that speak to the souls and stories of her clients.
Barbara began exploring and creating her artwork while at Wayne State University in Detroit. She finds that her work is most inspired by shapes found in nature as well as combinations of various elements. Since 2018, Barbara has spent her weekends using paint, pottery, knitting, and leather work as her creative outlet from her home in Michigan. Her intention with her artwork is to invoke curiosity and wonder; her pieces can mean something different to each person experiencing them, depending on their own life’s story.
